Privacy Policy

Last updated 2 August 2026

This policy explains what personal information FaithMark collects through this website, why it is used and the choices available to you.

Who is responsible for your information

FaithMark is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to Jose@faithmark.co.uk.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:

  • Your name and email address.
  • Your church or organisation.
  • A sermon or service link, or a private sermon recording you choose to upload, and any message you send.
  • Your selected consultation time, meeting length, timezone and discussion topic.
  • Anonymous interaction events such as video plays, calls-to-action clicked, form starts, successful submissions, booked calls and scheduler errors, together with page performance measurements such as loading speed, interaction response and visual stability.

Fields marked optional do not need to be completed. The forms also include a hidden anti-spam field used to reject automated submissions.

Private sermon uploads

If your sermon is not publicly available, you can upload an audio or video recording instead. Uploaded recordings are stored in private object storage, are not published on the website and can only be accessed through FaithMark's protected administration area. They are used only to review the sermon and prepare the requested sample. You may contact us to request deletion.

Website analytics and cookies

FaithMark uses first-party, cookie-free analytics to understand whether the website and booking journey work smoothly. These events contain an action label, page path, timestamp and a random session identifier that resets when the browser tab closes. They do not contain form field contents, names, email addresses or church information. Core Web Vitals are grouped with page, device category and connection type so we can find where the experience needs improvement.

If you choose “Allow analytics”, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity may also set analytics cookies and collect information about visits, clicks, scrolling, device and browser details, and how the website is used. Clarity may create masked session recordings and heatmaps. Form fields and sensitive input are masked. Google Tag Manager can load before you make a choice with analytics and advertising storage denied. Analytics storage and Clarity are enabled only after permission is given, while advertising storage and personalisation remain disabled. You can change your choice using Cookie settings in the website footer.

How and why we use it

We use this information to:

  • Respond to enquiries and prepare requested sample content.
  • Arrange and manage consultations.
  • Understand the service a church may need.
  • Measure and improve website usability and performance.
  • Protect the forms from spam and misuse.
  • Keep appropriate business and legal records.

We process information where it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract, to provide an agreed service, to meet legal obligations, or for our legitimate interests in responding to prospective clients and operating FaithMark. Optional Google Analytics and Clarity processing is based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Bookings and Google Calendar

The scheduler checks José's Google Calendar for busy and free periods so occupied times are not offered. Event names, notes and other calendar details are not shown to visitors. If you reserve a time, the site provides a Google Calendar link so you can add the appointment and send an invitation.

Who receives the information

Personal information is available to FaithMark and to service providers used to host and operate the website, store form records and support calendar scheduling. If you allow external analytics, website usage information is also provided to Google and Microsoft for Google Analytics, Tag Manager and Clarity. These providers receive information only as needed to provide their services. We do not sell personal information.

Some providers may process information outside the UK or European Economic Area. Where required, recognised safeguards are used for those transfers.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and booking information only for as long as it is reasonably needed to respond, administer the relationship, resolve disputes and meet legal or accounting obligations. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your information, restrict or object to its use, and receive a portable copy. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Contact us using the email above to make a request.

You may also complain to your local data protection authority, including the CNIL in France or the ICO in the UK.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the website or our data practices change. The date shown at the top indicates the latest revision.
